Data Sources
All data on PlainZIP comes from authoritative, publicly available sources:
- U.S. Census Bureau ACS 5-Year Estimates (2023) — demographics, income, education, housing, and poverty data for every ZIP code tabulation area (ZCTA)
- simplemaps.com — ZIP code coordinates, city/county mapping, and geographic metadata
- HUD USPS Crosswalk — ZIP-to-county mappings that connect postal ZIP codes with Census geographic areas
